Synonyms rHuSurfactant protein-D; SFTPD; PSP-D; COLEC7; SFTP4 ; 重組人表面活性劑蛋白 D (HEK293 細(xì)胞表達(dá)) Species HumanSource HEK 293 Accession P35247 Gene ID 6441 Molecular Weight 40-45 kDa AA Sequence AEMKTYSHRT MPSACTLVMC SSVESGLPGR DGRDGREGPR GEKGDPGLPG AAGQAGMPGQ AGPVGPKGDN GSVGEPGPKG DTGPSGPPGP PGVPGPAGRE GPLGKQGNIG PQGKPGPKGE AGPKGEVGAP GMQGSAGARG LAGPKGERGV PGERGVPGNT GAAGSAGAMG PQGSPGARGP PGLKGDKGIP GDKGAKGESG LPDVASLRQQ VEALQGQVQH LQAAFSQYKK VELFPNGQSV GEKIFKTAGF VKPFTEAQLL CTQAGGQLAS PRSAAENAAL QQLVVAKNEA AFLSMTDSKT EGKFTYPTGE SLVYSNWAPG EPNDDGGSED CVEIFTNGKW NDRACGEKRL VVCEF Appearance Lyophilized powder. Formulation Lyophilized after extensive dialysis against PBS. Endotoxin Level <0.2 EU/μg, determined by LAL method. Reconstitution Reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human Surfactant protein-D (HEK293-expressed) (rHuSurfactant protein-D) to 100 μg/mL using ddH2O or diluted with PBS. Storage & Stability Lyophilized recombinant Human Surfactant protein-D (HEK293-expressed) (rHuSurfactant protein-D) is stored at -20°C. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer. It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage. Shipping Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere. Background Surfactant protein-D (SP-D) participates in the innate response to inhaled microorganisms and organic antigens, and contributes to immune and inflammatory regulation within the lung. SP-D is synthesized and secreted by alveolar and bronchiolar epithelial cells, but is also expressed by epithelial cells lining various exocrine ducts and the mucosa of the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts. SP-D, a collagenous calcium-dependent lectin (or collectin), binds to surface glycoconjugates expressed by a wide variety of microorganisms, and to oligosaccharides associated with the surface of various complex organic antigens. SP-D also specifically interacts with glycoconjugates and other molecules expressed on the surface of macrophages, neutrophils, and lymphocytes. In addition, SP-D binds to specific surfactant-associated lipids and can influence the organization of lipid mixtures containing phosphatidylinositol in vitro[1][2]. |
